Driving Lessons

Tomorrow I have my first driving lesson at 1pm! I'm a little nervous to actually be behind the steering wheel of a car but I don't think that it's going to be too hard for a first lesson. Also, I found this cute site for making purikura like pictures but online! It actually has a lot of cute images and sparklies and whatnot. It's called puricute and you can find it under the links to this page.

快瘋了

孫燕姿 - 快瘋了I like the tune of this song. It's kinda got a dark or lonely meaning but I think it has a catchy tune. And what's better about this song compared to the other ones on her album, not every line has ends in an "oo" sound!

I got my drivers' permit!!

HELLYES!! I took the drivers' permit test at the RMV this morning and I passed! I was really nervous because I failed it the first time I tried for it. The test was so hard. They asked questions about a lot of penalties and junior operator rules. The test was so hard. They asked questions about a lot of penalties and junior operator rules. My memory isn't that great either so I had trouble remembering things--especially when the multiple choice answers are all so similar. Like last time, I was stuck on the last few questions that I had skipped. You're only allowed to get 7 questions out of 25 wrong so it was very tricky. Every time I got one wrong I would panic a little more each time. When I was on the last question, especially, I felt the pressure to get the right answer or else I would have failed by one question, which would completely suck. But when I finally got the "you passed" message I was so happy and relieved. I didn't want to take it again because it causes $30 per try.

I saw somewhere that ameba blogs were able to show a small meropark screen with your personal 'mero' in it. So naturally, I made an ameba blog. But, see, the problem is that my Japanese is not that strong yet so I can't read most of the words on either site. I just join these things on a whim!

Tomorrow morning I'm heading to the RMV to take my permit test. I hope I do well this time. I studied!
Last time they asked so many questions about fines and renewing licenses. I don't even have my license yet, why would I care to memorize that now? Anyways, the sooner I can start driving lessons, the sooner I can get that license. But since I can't bring the car to school, I'll probably get out of practice. Oh well, as long as I can legally drive, I don't mind.

Also, I need to go to Pinkberry on Newbury St. so I can fill out an application. How nice would it be if I could get an on-the-spot interview? I really need a job and I would like working at a frozen yogurt shop--especially one that I and some other friends are customers of. Newbury St. is a great location too because there are plenty of shops around to draw in customers and tourists. Anyone want to go to Pinkberry with me?

Nevertheless, I finished this game on the easy difficulty level settings so now I'm trying to complete the game on normal mode. Apparently there are hidden difficulties that probably appear after you clear the game on hard mode. It's a very short game so there's only 6 missions. Any longer and I guess it would be annoying to have to complete on so many difficulty levels.

After playing Resident Evil for the Wii at a friend's birthday party (yeah, weird place to be playing a scary game right?) I have formed a new liking for shooter games. However, this game isn't a first-person shooter, except for in sniper mode. The camera controls can be frustrating because the directional pad controls the camera while the L and R buttons are for locking-on targets and firing the trigger, respectively. I had a preference for using assault riffles and sniper rifles from afar...but then I unlocked a special gun and that was pretty useful.

Overall, not as creepy as Silent Hill games (not that I play them...I just watch walkthroughs on Youtube...hehe) but definitely a good shooter game if you like those or if you like getting extremely frustrated at times.
